Welcome to the forum. Great portrait – and even greater knowing it's a self portrait. Photography competitions often have a "shoot yourself" section. I'd say you've got your entry ready early, and it's a winner. Keep posting....

Nicely done indeed. I think portraits from above are extraordinarily effective in the right situations but one does not see many. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.
