Beautiful girl, superb photography. My favourites are #3 and #5.

Personally, I would have ditched the blue checked shirt and purple striped top for something that blended a little more with her colouring and didn't compete for attention. I am also not a fan of jewellery in portraits, for the same reason that they compete for attention and distract from the subject.

Notwithstanding any of my personal foibles, I can't fault the quality of the model, the photographer, or the final result and no doubt she is very pleased with them.

THanks Colin yes the family were delighted and she wants to do more! My mate is happy so wen I get a chance I'll do more.

Regards the shirt I liked that because I thought it brought some interest to the image but I do see the fault with the jewellery now you mention it!

The images were not meant to be serious work - just practice and a few nice iomages that she could print but she is indeed a beautiful girl and I hope to try and create something more the next time.

She had her three friends with her too but 2 were a little more reserved - understandable as I've known Lauren since she was a very young baby! Now I feel old!

I now want to correct what you have pointed out :) haha

Can see what Colin means about the shirt and the jewellery drawing your eye away from the model's face, after looking again.

Hi Jim, I can't be bothered nick picking. I'm sure the girl and her family were very pleased with these. The jewelery doesn't distract me at all.

Millie I don't mind nit picking at all as it's good to see others views (whether we agree or not). I liked the shirt but when I look again the jewellery does detract a little but nice to be pointed out so I can look at the small details next time.

Hair is usually always a pain! THanks for the comments :)
