Trev - nice shots (although I'll have to google to find out what Towner is all about).

btw - shows what a cracking camera the 40D is and still is.

        Cheers MX5 it's a contempory art gallery.

In the first pic I set the camera up wrong, it goes to show it not the camera that counts, it's the operator :-)
I was using the C1 dial and alas it had settings from were I was immediately before I took these.
I did up the ISO to 800 but forgot to save the settings and because the dial was in C1 it reverted to ISO 100 when the camera went on standby.
It's the first time I've made that mistake, and was quite lucky to get away with it, hopefully it will be that last time.

        Thanks Joanne !

It is very good for a single flash, I was wondering if you had taken a second along.

Is the flash on the shoe or on a bracket?

                Re: Towner Eastbourne Pcs

Thanks Brian it was a single flash, on camera, no diffuser. It was too crowded to get up to any shenanigans with OCF

Out of the snaps I got. I Like this one best. LOL It looks like a composite image due to the walls and corridor behind.
I think it was a half decent moment with the speaker sharper than the laugher n all
