    Macro moment

I was playing around with my 100mm macro lens when my granddaughter happened to look up from her iPod and I snapped her before she had time to take evasive action. She isn't usually very co-operative when my camera is around!
I prefer the b&w version to the colour.

Lovely capture. The hint of a smile makes this pic.

Thanks Mazzie. This was a very impromptu capture, so I had no time to compose properly.

Just goes to show how versatile a lens the 100 macro is.
          Nice mono image

Thanks for your kind comments everyone. I think the secret was just calling her name and catching her unawares. I must try it with the other three photo-shy grandchildren!

A great shot with a great lens, so natural a pose, which I like, a real keeper.
The 100mm macro lens is a great portrait lens too.

I thought the same when I first saw it. She may appreciate that when she is older.

Hope so - it would be a shame if she didn't (but it may take some time!)
