    Playing with a laser

I decided that I wanted to try something a little different at the last shoot and this is an experiment with just illuminating the model with a multi-beam laser pen.

The exposure was 5 seconds at f16 and the model had to stay still whilst the laser beam was moved over her starting at the head and working down.

It is not perfect but the first attempt at something different I will play again at some point in the future and hopefully get better images.

    Well that's a little different...

I trust it was a fairly low power laser pen as they can be damaging to eyeballs in the wrong circumstances.

Like that makes a change to see some experimental work.

It's certainly an interesting effect, but you should NEVER point a laser (no matter how low-powered) at a person's face.

I strongly advise you to reconsider this approach.

So true John, it can constitute a criminal offence if any harm is done.

I cannot stress how damaging even very low powered lasers can be to eyesight.
