Home Studio Images

Today after church, I set up my home studio, using 1 430 EX II flash set to 1/32 power in a large soft box. The Camera was the Canon SL1 (100D). I then tethered the camera to Light Room 5 to the computer, then using Air Display, I controlled the camera using my iPad. I first did a couple of self portraits, then some of the wife, then us together.

1st 2 images where done with the Sigma 85mm f/1.4
ISO 200, 1/60 sec @ f/4.5




Next image was using the EF-40mm f/2.8 STM
ISO 200, 1/80 sec @ f/5.6

Looking good Tom, the way technology and tools are going you will soon be able to get the iPad to set the studio up for you whilst you have a coffee

Isn't there an App for that?

Very nice Tom, (although a smile would be even better). Looks like the lighting setup worked well, exposure just right. Nice.

Thanks Mike. I also used a light meter to set the settings for the camera.

very nice mono portrait set there Tom. If I can be picky, image 2, it would be better if you crop out your fingers as I find them a wee bit distracting.
