    Here are few images of some wood patterns that I took on trip to the wetlands centre at Barnes...

          Andy, really like the second. Not so sure about the first, I think what is bothering me is the whiter out of focus area is just too dominating. But I like the composition.

              I don't understand what has happened to the first image Andy. OK the depth of field is too shallow, but I can't work out why the copyright notice is OOF too. Strange.

              I like the second image, but can I suggest dropping the highlights by about 30%. I think it will help to bring the shot alive.

                I think the copyright thing is just a visual illusion due to light OOF background.
                I can see what people mean about the DoF.

                I'll try to remember to look at the image again and the highlights.
