Duckweed

Duckweed is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at Hopeland Gardens in Aiken, SC. By putting part of my tripod in the water I was able to compose my Duckweed piece from directly above the aquatic plants. I was attracted to how random (in size, angle, and position) the fronds were as well as how they formed an unmistakably abstract pattern.
