    UV Fluorescence 3

Another few images in my occasional series of photos taken under UV light. This time it is of one of my lilies in the garden, Black Beauty. This lily is a little different as it has recurve (I assume that is the term) petals. I have put the images under normal light through LR to help with the background as these pics were taken indoors, it's blowing a gale and wet outside! All my Lilies are in tubs otherwise I'd be stuck.

As a matter of interest I used manual focus for the UV shots, it wasn't possible with auto

2 Reverse under normal light (0.4 sec, F11, ISO 1600)

    3 Under 365nm UV torchlight (5 sec, F16, ISO 1600)

4 Reverse under same UV light (1.6 sec, F11 ISO 1600)

The difference is not as pronounced as the passion flower was but still worth seeing.

    Nice set.
It is amazing how different the lily looks under UV light, the back of the flower looks different from the front. Any UV pics of any other Lilies?
    Pic no3 for me.
