    second curtain sync

I have been experimenting with the second curtain sync function on the camera, and as it was a windy day I thought I'd try to capture a sense of the movement. The flower is shot using a tripod, and the leaves is hand held and panned the leaves to get the blurred background. What do you think. Not abstract enough. Any ideas welcome.

I think ..................... you may have something here and I do like it.

Make some time to develop it and see where it takes you.

              Re: second curtain sync

Thanks for the feed back. I've been following one of the monthly photo mag. challenges, and this month was using rear curtain sync. It's really helpful in making you try different things and thinking outside the box. After all our cameras have many functions that we often don't realise are there, or how to use them. So for me this was definitely outside the box. Hopefully I'll get time to try some new ideas on another windy day.

Thanks. Not sure I'd inflict my shots on the general public, but its fun experimenting.

                    Jonesgj, #2's my favourite too.
