    Wedding Shoes and Rings

    Hi All,

As some of you may have seen on other threads, I have a new camera to learn to use, a 7D and I have been ordered!!! to be the official Photographer at my Daughters wedding on this coming Saturday!!!

I think it is mostly to do with saving money but it could of course be that she doesn't want me spoiling her pic's with my ugly mug!!!

Anyway, I have made a start by shooting a few arty farty shots of the shoes and the rings using the 7D.

    Any advice would be appreciated

    Regards Paul

      Thanks Stephen,

      Much appreciated.

Forgot to say on the Pic's all are taken with the 7D, 50mm F1.4, some with tripod and mirror lock up, the outside ones on the mirror, hand held.

        Paul - love these.

So crisp, especially like #1, and the simplicity of #5, but all are very good IMHO.

        Good luck on the day!

        All the best, Mike.

Thanks Mike, Colin and Tom, it looks like Number 1 then for the album for the shoes and number 4 for the rings.

Saturday keeps getting closer and I haven't got the MGB wedding car running right yet!!!

And I am supposed to be retired, am going back to work for a rest!!!

                  Re: Wedding Shoes and Rings

                  #1 is outstanding.

I don't envy you at all, if I can offer you any advice it would be:

1 - make sure you have at least one (if not 2) spare batteries and make sure they are charged.
2 - memory, memory, memory - you can NEVER have too many memory cards.
3 - no matter how stressful - try to enjoy it, if you get tense then it will show.

All excellent and well thought out. If you do as well with the actual wedding then your daughter should be well pleased. Good luck
