    Re: Flare

Hi Di, Love the way the sun's light makes the leaves translucent and you exposed them well. The only problem is the big bright light on the top left corner. I might suggest that you burn that part to darken the brightness a bit.

The leaves look transparent. Beautiful autumnal colours.

        Thanks.

Tried the burnt tool in Gnu. Never played with this tool before. So it was a learning experience.

With the corner darkened:- (or a least I've tried to darken it.)

          Hi,

I love the leaves and the light effect, but I think I would have taken out all the left side and left the image in Portrait, unless you were specifically after the hexagon shaped light effects?

          Regards Paul

I see what you mean about cropping portrait. and I really like the idea, I've also tried taking a square crop and keeping the hexagons... and now I can't make up my mind. LOL!
