    On a Whisper.

This leaf as been sat on my pond net for at least three days. I've kept meaning to take the shot, but work and everything else seemed to get in the way, when I came home today and it was still there, I couldn't resist.

It was only when I took the photo that I saw how it had managed to stay on the net.

The leaf is off an ornametal cherry. Looks really bright on the dark net and I liked the pattern of the netting behind it.

    WDYT?

Like the contrast of the colors and the grate adds to the interest of the image.

Beautiful colours and like the background texture from the net.

Simple, but attractive. Once again you have shown your eye for the unusual.

You are producing some very good stuff Di and this is no exception. I think you should put a Tilt-shift (the TS-E 24) lens down on your Christmas List ;-)

I've missed the 'New England' autumnal colours in Northern England ... those that did turn got blown off almost immediately and before I got a chance to see them. Others seemed to go autumn drab. So I've been starved of vivid bright autumn ... so I like this.

Thanks all. got a bit of autumn colour all over the garden at the moment. It will how ever be shortly disappearing in the garden vac if the weather holds this weekend.

MX5 - Looked at the tilt-shift ... very nice... I think I would love one...just working out which relative I can sell to buy one.
