    Its a scene.

Didn't know where to put these. So figured here is the best place. The other day it was asked what other hobbies people had...

Years ago, I indulged in 1:12 minatures. Dolls Houses to the the rest of the world. They take up a suprising amount of room and quite a lot of time. I don't indulge anymore. Don't have the time or the space.

But I have kept my favourites.

The Dining Room. (Part of a full four storey house.)

The glasses are about a cm tall.
Camera Canon EOS 500D - Hand held.
    Exposure 0.017 sec (1/60)
    Aperture f/4.5
    Focal Length 50 mm
    ISO Speed 200
    Exposure Bias 0 EV
    Flash Off, Did not fire

    The WallPaper Shop.
Built to a budget of five pounds in an internet challenge. The shop till and lamp were bought, everything else came from paper. The shop is built inside a box that held five reams of A4 paper.

Camera Canon EOS 500D - Hand held.
    50mm macro lens
    Exposure 0.017 sec (1/60)
    Aperture f/2.5
    Focal Length 50 mm
    ISO Speed 200
    Exposure Bias 0 EV
    Flash On, Fired

    The Doctors.
Built inside a leverarch file. Again the result of a challenge for an unusual 1:12.

    Camera Canon EOS 500D
    Exposure 0.013 sec (1/80)
    Aperture f/6.3
    Focal Length 50 mm
    ISO Speed 400
    Exposure Bias 0 EV
    Flash On, Fired

Complete with an attic full of junk, working lights and a mouse in the rafters.

Di, you impress me more with each photo you post.

I have bought Mrs C a Georgian Dolls House, shell only and it cost a fortune. I have done nothing with it yet, except to go to a few shows and see what I have let myself in for and just from those few visits, I can appreciate the amount of time imagination and skill that has gone into this. I assume you won the competition>

Love the mouse .......... nice touch.

          Re: Its a scene.

Thanks all. Harder than I expected trying to take photos, when the camera is bigger than the room I'm trying to photo.

Didn't win the competition. Didn't expect to, I'm a beginner compared to some out there. A bit like photography

          Colin.

Just some sites relating to dollshouses. I used them all when building mine.

          For ideas if nothing else.

          Hope they help.

          Di.
