    Strawberries n Cream!

A couple from today. I'd had an image in my head all week, so couldn't wait for when I had time to have a go. The second image is the one I'd been thinking of, and the first one grew from that. I'm really quite pleased with both of them.

Thanks to my assistant who did the pouring (and the mopping....); we have been chucking strawberries about all afternoon. Its amazing how far they go, and how much mess the cream makes!

    thanks for looking

Here is a shot of the setup in our kitchen for these strawberry and cream shots.

Two studio flash heads with soft boxes were placed either side. The left light set for f16 and the right one for f5.6. The backdrop was velvet o absorb the light.

The camera was plugged into a laptop on top of the washing machine, which remotely controlled all of the camera settings and allowed an immediate large view of the image just taken, making life a lot easier.

I like the second shot with the cream pouring over the strawberry.

These are excellent. That's some set up in the kitchen - my good lady would never allow that!

Thanks for sharing and for the tips on setting up.
