    Colour in the snow

I was out experimenting with RAW today and took this shot. It seems to have lost a lot of the detail from what I see in Lightroom, but I am still fairly happy. Forgot to take the ISO off auto, but hey!

The detail looks fine to me Garry. Nice shot.

Simple, lots of detail, good exposure and composition. Well done.

Nice and simple - great colours and sharp.

Nicely done, even like the hint of grass coming up from the snow, reminding us that the snow is only temporary.

Thanks guys, I truly appreciate the encouragement. Looking at it again, the detail does look okay. I have just downloaded the free trial of lightroom4, and already love it. I can't seem to get it to recognise PSE5 though. Maybe it's too old.

Tom, this snow only lasted 48hrs. It rained last night, and now no snow! So truly temporary!

Thanks again for taking the time to comment,

            Garry
