    Light Snack & Tea

This weekend I made some Fairy Gingerbread Cookies. A 118 year-old recipe that makes a wafer thin cookie that is about as thick and big as a playing card. If you like gingerbread, you will love these cookies as that have a wonderful ginger flavor.

    That appeals to me Tom.

My favourite ginger biscuits are bought from Ikea. A very large box of them for £2.25. Wafer thin, lovely ginger taste, but there is a downside .................. both grandchildren have started to like them and they disappear rather too quickly.

      Light Snack & Tea

Thanks Colin. When I make them they last for a week as there is only my wife and I. So far, only the 2 year old grandchild likes them, so they don't go to fast yet,

                  Very appetising picture :)
Nice against a black background and neat little reflections on the crockery.

                      It is indeed.

I didn't want to mention the name, just in case it was rude.

                        Nice one Tom.

Whenever I'm in Grasmere (English Lake District) SWMBO insists I pop in http://www.grasmeregingerbread.co.uk/ and make a purchase - as she's likes Gingerbread (I don't).
