    Crumpets

Well it was a cold and windy day and the wife wanted me to make some crumpets for her for breakfast tomorrow. So for the blog I took these images of the final product:

    EOS-M w/EF-M 22mm f/2 STM w/off camera flash @ 1/64 power w/1/2 CTO flashed through portable studio
    1/125 sec @ f/3.5, ISO 100

So after they were completed I had to cut one open to see how they came out:

    Tried a couple of bites:

    And then some more:

    And before you know it...

Oops, I think I'm in trouble

    Comments welcomed

They looked good enough to eat Tom, I hope you left a couple for SWMBO otherwise you will be in big trouble 😉

Strange but true ... I had two earlier with Marmite on them. Here we also have Pikelets (skinny crumpet) and Bara Piglydd (Welsh ones) around here.

          I fully understand that sequence.

          Must eat them hot.

Thanks Peter, Ian, MX5 and Colin for stopping by and commenting. I did leave her some. Don't want to be sleeping outside.

I like the idea behind the sequence Tom, always satisfying to see something actually being eaten.

Ah, I think we're of similar minds ... Marmite!
