Beaulieu Fireworks

Seeing Johnathan's firework post reminded me of the last time I shot fireworks back in 2010 at Beaulieu. I posted this one at the time but here it is again as most will not have seen it. The shot is a compilation of 4 frames, all shot with the 7D and 17-85. The basic shot of the wheel was @ 2 secs but cant remember now for the fireworks. I seem to remember it did well at camera club at the time

Love it Stan. I'd never have thought about combining the 4 frames. Just as an aside, were the camera club ok with it being a composite?

unless it is a specific "Nature" comp category, for anything else, camera club or national competitions, pretty much anything goes and fantasy type images are all in vogue just now and many of them bare no resemblance to the picture as shot

Cracking that. Sussex has a tradition of an array of bonfire celebrations, I have a friend that likes to shoot them, he lurks here I think. I bet he would be impressed with that.
