I took this shot but it was a bit ordinary until I had some assistance and lightened the foreground.

Very nice, Jenny, and lots more lovely images on your Flickr site. What you have done with the foreground definitely works. As Ian says, it is a bit tight at the top, but otherwise love the composition against the bridge and pool of light in the water.

I know its not easy with fireworks as you don't know how high they will go - I'm hoping to get some next week as we have a show here, knowing my luck I'll have the same problem as you ;o):- Ian

Well captured Jenny, as others have said its a bit tight at the top. But you have some great colour both in the fireworks and the light that they've cast on the foreground.Peter
