    Operation Tiger

In April 1944 around 639 Americans were killed whilst practicing for the D Day landings on Slapton Sands. This is the memorial to Operation Tiger nearby at Torcross.

A nice monument that you composed well Wayne. for me, the color popping you did, seems to over power the over all effect of the image IMO.

agree, in this case I don't think it works...maybe had you gone close for the flags and the central reef, it could have worked

Cheers Fellas. I think I'll have a play with it, maybe de-saturate the poppies quite a bit.

Oh I actually like it, it being in black and white emphasises the time when wartime movie reel news of the time were all black and white with the red of the poppies bringing it into the present and showing they haven't been forgotten. Nicely done.

I would desaturate the wood between two of the poppy rings though, as it looks out of place as the rest of the frame has been done.
