Tower Bridge - long exposure effect

Unlike Patrick, when we last went to London, we didn't take tripods so little chance for long exposure shots so I thought I would try and copy the effect on a standard shot using photoshop

I admire your ingenuity Stan and the sky is a real success, not convinced over the water though. LE would render it like glass. Having said that the effect you have created is interesting

Sky works well, water no so much.

        cheers guys

I used motion blur on both the sky and water - maybe would be better to use surface blur on the water ?

It's getting there. What I always do is use a number of brushes set to -100 clarity to go over the water. That'll smooth it out for sure

of the 2 I prefer the second edit - but the water still needs a little attention
