    ICE

I have a garden pond, the filter of which is still running. Found it like this, this morning. Please excuse the pipe, couldn't work out how to cover it.

Great shot the pipe is part of the image,

There will be times when you will be in the field without a camera. And, you will see the most glorious sunset or the most beautiful scene that you have ever witnessed. Don't be bitter because you can't record it. Sit down, drink it in, and enjoy it for what it is!

How unusual to be iced up and still work.

I like the shape and lights reflecting / refracting in the ice well captured

Ice makes for some interesting images.

Wonder how it would look at night with different coloured lights shining through the ice.

yeah I know tooooo cold at night to give it a go

              Re: ICE

Thanks all, the pond is half frozen and the fish actually ate the other day. The pond is near the house, so its rare for it to freeze completely.

I thought about lights at night, but...and this is my excuse. I was too close to the water for comfort, and it was icy cold in the middle of the day... I'm shuddering just thinking about going out at night

But seen as it doesn't seem to be getting any warmer, I may go out and give it another whirl later
