    Good use of HDR but I think you could possibly have been able to get more detail in the sky - either with your HDR processing or the Burn tool in your editing software

        #2 is my pick for sure. As you may or may not know I personally think (personal opinion) that HDR often looks like it's painted on. #2 looks very real to me and I'm always attracted to those pictures. Nice job!

          Many thanks for the kind comments from all. I posted these pictures to show that HDR does not have to be unrealistic, in fact I have posted many HDR's without anyone commenting.

            Brian ... indeed it do show how HDR can be done 'correctly' (I guess people will argue that there is no right way) to generate images that look like they've been naturally taken with a sensor with high dynamic range. These are aren't far away ...
