    Circus Scenes

Well it's raining once again so I get chance to look back at images from better times.

This is one image of many that I made on a visit to an artists home and gallery in Akaroa on the South Island of New Zealand. A lot of the artwork was created using tile/glass mosaic techniques. At the time I did wonder where the artist got her ideas from! Some of the artwork was intermingled with ordinary garden elements e.g. fruit trees and the likes.

This image shows one area that to me had been created as a circus. However I'm not sure if the raised hands were supposed to be the circus audience or just another figment of the artists creativity.

For anyone who would like more information on the artist (Josie Martin) and her garden gallery here's a LINK

There was a Band playing too

A great shot Peter, I also wonder where people get their inspiration for things like that. Nice few sticks of Rhubarb there on the left of the picture

Thanks Trev, as well as the rhubarb there's also some pears on the tree behind and to the left of the balancing act too.

Ive just added an image of the resident band to my first post.

Another great shot, there must be hours of painstaking work in those figures.
