    Satan's rose

Another of my play things from the lockdown period.

I wanted to try something a little different from the standard tabletop image of flowers in a vase etc. so decided that I would take some of my wifes roses that were in a vase and play with isopropyl alcohol and a box of matches. You can have great fun but need to be careful of the exposure otherwise you loose the falmes.

I also found out the hard way that this alcohol does really dry out the skin, but it does kill any sign of COVID infection.

I admire your skill and bravery.

Mrs C would not be best pleased if I set fire to her things in the house. The resulting penalties are not worth contemplating.

I'd be concerned about losing more than the flames...excellent results, hope the smoke damage was not too great.

Very well done. Flames are difficult to capture.
