Yes the smoke trails are good, like them, food for thought when I have my next bonfire. I'm not so academically gifted as David (Daisy M) with regards to identifying various species sperm, so I will pass this one over and just say, nice shot.Trev

The 'sperm' shot is olive oil floating on water with a few drops of washing up liquid in it. The dish is standing on coloured fabric and lit by flash with a coloured gel. The dark edge is created by the odd refractive index at the boundary between the oil and the water, which creates a shadow on the cloth. That's the science. Not as much fun as Kiwi sperm.Alan
