    High Key Roses

Trying out some High Key Still Life, so I borrowed a couple of the wife's roses for this image.

    Camera EOS SL1 (100D)
    Lens EF 70-300 f/4-5.6L
    1/80 sec @ f/7.1, ISO 800 @ 155mm

I think I would prefer to see a little more saturation and definition to the roses Tom and get rif of the darker line mid right which breaks up the continuity of the high key background

Surprising how much detail comes out in BW - it wasnt until I seen pics on this site in BW that I even contemplated using that format in any of mine. I always just saw BW as two colours B & W - LOL. How wrong was I.

The B&W version presses all the right buttons for me.
