    Florida Shells

Shelling is quite a common pastime on the beaches in Florida and we did our fair share of collecting. I got the home studio out yesterday and took shots of some of the many. These are all varieties of auger shell, each around 1" in length with different variations of colour

Shot with Canon 24-105 and two heads set eather side at 45 degrees

Well done Stan it makes me go a little strange (no comments please [emoji6]) looking at the centre then the patterns on the shells it sort of give the impression of the shells spinning you into a vortex IYSWIM

not intentional but does make the eyes go funny

I did try to get them in a proper circle but no sooner had I got one in the right position, one of the others rolled so in the end gave up

I did another with just 3 shells

still get it in UK but didn't think of that at the time, although it would have needed very small pieces and the background is black card on which it doesn't tend to stick too well
