    Super Saloons

Hey gang, full days racing at Silverstone for the club on Saturday but the highlight had to be the Super Saloons - not as many as we had hoped for but still simply awesome to see / hear these guys back out on track.

#1 - the huge 5.7 ltr Carlton still gets the blood flowing

#2 - the one and only Baby Bertha (thanks to Cory for this one)

#3 - unbelievably quick mini - windscreen taped up as it warped in the earlier heat (perspex screens)

    #4 - heat haze was a nightmare

#5 - Simon in his Esprit led from the start and lapped almost everyone else - may not be pretty but damn it's quick

All the others inc all the other classes can be found HERE

Corys shots are mixed in with mine #1203 onwards - they are arranged by time taken so you will have to hunt through them and YES waaaaay too many shots as usual

Good set again,Heat haze doesn't help in fact this whole sunny weather doesn't help highlights are too white and shadows are too dam dark,I just couldn't find the right balance over the weekend.

        Sorry me again.

Do Like the punchy color in #7 though a bit tight in the frame it still works for me.

Thank you again kind sir . . .

Just checked the info on #7 and that was one of Cory's and it's un-cropped so 7D with the 200mm prime with her back to the fence (now there is an image )

It really was an 'in your face' green and a complete mare to capture, almost as bad as the dayglo green mini that played havoc with the camera in the direct sunlight.

Another cracking set David - and the subject matter is awesome. Keep 'em coming especially the Carlton and of course Baby Bertha.
Any signs of Big Bertha about ?? Would love to see that monster again.
