Cadwell Park Trackday - Cockpit shots

Hi All,

Went to Cadwell Park last Sunday for a Nolimits Trackday. Its the first time I've been back there since I raced Formula Fords back in the mid '70's. Nothing much has changed, trackwise - I'm pleased to say. Anyway, this was the first time out using the 1DX for motor sport - I still have a bit of work to do on the set up side, but everything was much better by the end of the day.
As always took far to many shot, but I thought I'd start with some cockpit shots - I always like these. I hope you guys do too.

Nice set Neil, I think I like Number 1 the best, it portrays movement well, number 5 looks a bit soft to me although I do like the colours best.

Did you get any of them Airborne at the top of the Mountain?

The first one one is my favorite for the color rendering, the lack of sun of the later time of day affect the colors on the other ones.
I really like the focus on all of them, superb handling by photographer and 1Dx

Only thing is that I'm not a fan of cropped bike of helmets.

Hi All,

Thanks for the comments, guys - always appreciated. Apart from the first the pictures were taken at the bottom of The Mountain, before the sun had risen abovet the trees. This is quite a slow part of the track and was as far as I'd got before play got started.

I like cockpit shots, so these are a treat to view.

On my monitor the colour is touch too blue on pic 2, still a great pic though.

Neil, I've had some problems in the past with using the ADOBE RGB colour space (that you use), for web display and it's caused me some printing probs.
It may be worth changing to S RGB and seeing if you prefer it, unless you really need to use ADOBE RGB
