    Riding the waves....well, mostly

    A few shots I took of surfers during a weeks holiday in early October. This guy was streets (waves) ahead of all the others.

                    Thanks for all your comments. The weeks holiday was the first real try out of my 70 - 200 f/2.8. I was a little concerned that it might not be easy to hand hold. In fact I found it ok despite me being a 9 stone (just) weakling!

                            Thanks Stephen. I really enjoyed the hour or so I spent watching and shooting them. But next time I will remember I also have a 1.4 converter in my bag

                              Seemed all agree itsa nice set, no 3 being the best, although no 2 is close behind you can see the he's travelling!
                              may I ask you how far away you were from the surfers???
