    Scassa's off at Brands

I happened to be in the right place at the right time for this shot. This is one of a string of a motor drive shots that follows hime through to when he stands up.

Great capture BUT my honest opinion if you want it - it's out of focus, and the vibrancy is a touch high (just blowing out the orange on his suit).

May just be where you are hosting your photo's - I know a few of the guys have had issues.

David you're right the colours are nothing like the original. As for the focus this was the first of the string and was a quick snap shot . the following shots are pin sharp but not as dramatic

And then you blew it Sorry had to say it.That's the world of sports photography,Capturing the peak of the action (in sharp focus) as it happens.
I should know i take a lot of Un-sharp images at their peak of the action, i just don't post them

Well caught - better to have the shot than not IMO

Although it is not pin sharp, still it is a nice action shot and as Elaine said, it was better to have shot than not.

Yes he's perfectly OK. this off was during qualifying and he took part in the race and finished.

2nd one is def sharper, as a rule I don't usually keep the OoF ones even when they are part of the sequence, yes it is usually the best angle / light / action ones that are out as it's 'sods law' but you are only as good as your worst shot (at least that's the one you will be remembered for)

                      Sorry - I didn't mean to lecture.
