    Great day, great result (if you're not South African), and I'm really pleased with the 70-200 f/4 L.

              Thank you all for your kind feedback, I was over 100 yds from the wicket, but I think the 70-200 & 1.4x extender coped really well.

              For cricket fans, there are some more shots on my Flickr page.

              The one trick I did learn though was to simultaneously listen to the BBC radio commentary (analogue not digital). When the commentator said "and he bowls ..." I pressed the shutter. Worked a treat!

                Good set, I know how hard it is to get good images from cricket. One of the main problems is the distance from the action so with a 200mm + x1.4 you did well.
