My 2nd attempt at football

A mate of mine is one of the coaches of Oxford city nomads and asked if I would take some photos, never done any football before so thought I'd give it a go.

I think that was great. I tried photographing a staff 5-a-side game once in bright sunlight, great light. I was all over the place, too much going on and ended up with a blistering headache. It's amazing what you can capture though. Hard to get pin sharp focus and I think these are right up there.

#3 for me is a cracker. That player would probably not have known how high he jumped to kick that ball away. Excellent shot.

After seeing your flickr it's clear why they are pin sharp. You're quite the pro at this sort of thing :)

Thank you Paul, much appreciated, how you getting on with the 5D ?

Not had a chance to capture very much sport, did a little amateur boxing but lighting was terrible if fact everything I've shot with the 5D MkIII has being in darkness, thank god it can keep good detail at very high ISO levels its being a life saver in that respected.
