    Castle Combe

Sorry for the photo overload - really tricky to choose a few for posting but here are a brief selection.

Kit details: Handheld, 1Dmk4, 70-200 2.8 mkII, 1.4 mkIII extender.

    #1 1/160, f/5.6, iso 100, 280mm - variety is the spice of life n all that

    #2 1/250, f/5.6, iso 100, 280mm - little rich on the over run perhaps?

#3 1/500, f/4.5, iso 160, 280mm - Having to rest the lens against the mesh fencing is always going to be hit n miss.

    #4 1/4, f/4.5, iso 100, 98mm - this slow speed shutter stuff does nothing for me ;-)

    #5 1/500, f/4.5, iso 100, 210mm - the big cats came out to play

    #6 1/500, f/4.5, iso 100, 280mm - Mag 7's always give good close racing

    Thanks for looking.

    .DAVID.

Rest can be found here if your REALLY stuck for something to do.

Number 4 is fun, something a bit different for the genre.

Thanks one and all - the best bit about the smart cars. . . . . the class they race in is called 'Modern Classics' Nope I can't get my head around that either, smart car and classic just doesn't seem to go.

                Cheers fella,

One of the comments that were made to me last season was that I seem to be focusing on getting one car to almost fill the frame and sometimes it would be nice if I pulled it back a bit to get more in and I have to agree - the full frame shots still work but so do the multi car ones.

agree..maybe if they went into the same grouping with lawn mower racing would be better ;o)

Nice set David, I'm guilty of the one car in the frame also, I especially like number 3, nice symmetry with the 3 cars staggered nicely
