    Albion Rovers Vs Clyde

Third outing in my new adventure in Football photography was a League 2 clash with Albion Rovers and Clyde. It ended 2-2, with me missing the two Clyde goals due to them being up the park and I was sleeping at the wheel with the first clyde goal because it came out of nothing really.

Overall a pretty exciting game for a lower league clash. Only about 500 or so in attendance but it sounded like a lot more lol

    Thanks for loooking

Yeah Bill I always sit right at the point where the 18 yard box meets the touchline. Some games they don't bother, others prefer you sit behind the boards.

Really like the expressions that you've caught Paul. Real shame about the background in the first but not much you can do about that of course.

        Well done again.

Absolutely nothing you can do with that. I think a 300 2.8 would marginally blur the background out but there was very close to the by line so thus being really close to the stand. Can't wait to get a long 2.8. I think it would open up a lot of decent shots for me.

More decent shots Paul, in a short space of what 3 games they are looking like pro to me.

Paul - amazing sharpness on all your shots. Can I ask what you have your camera set to - Av / Tv / Manual? I have attempted on numerous occasions to take photos of local football and have never been 100% happy with my sharpness. I usually set it at Tv (probably around 1000) with auto iso and AF to AI Servo. Am I missing something? Thanks for any assistance.

It's not easy following the action but you seem to be handling it well.
