    Local team in action

A few shots from a local football team i covered over the weekend.

The main reason to post these is to try out my new website, so I hope I can post correctly from here rather than post from flickr?

#1 No problem tracking full on action shots.

#2 Close focus ability of the 400mm not cropped as shot.

#3 Thankfully managed to keep ball in shot.

#4 love the detail from Full Frame sensors even though shot in only 10mp M Raw files.

see full set here hopefully http://paullinton.smugmug.com/Humber...Hull-United-AF

Superb set fella. Looking at your smug site - you NEED a watermark as your shots will get 'borrowed' - just printed on A4 as a test and if I liked poofball it would be on the wall.

      Just a heads up mate

      PS awesome Shakey Burns shot

Many thanks David for letting me know, did you copy from this forum or my website as it should have no rightclick embedded on the site to stop people copying? haven't quite managed to workout watermarks at the moment but something I'll have to learn to do.

              Nice set. Love the light.

I must give this ago. I only live 100 yards from a foot ball pitch where the local teams (mostly pub, so there's always some blood) ) play most Sundays. Again a very fine set.

                Many thanks Gary.
I find the pub teams tend to keep the ball more up in the air than actually on the pitch which makes life a little more difficult to get good shots, but saying that when they do tackle they tackle hard and as you say its either broken bones or lots of blood lol.

                        Nice images Paul

but why not buy your own domain and use that over free space - its so cheap now and considering your selling these you'll have a lot more control than a free site

edit - did you know the domain paullinton.co.uk is free - very few people can buy there name and it would be a great marketing tool for you

I wish my name was there. It's been taken by another photographer down south. What's the chances of that? lol Grab it while you can Paul.
