Re: A solid rugby hand off

What a cracker and perfectly timed Paul. The expression on both their faces really tells the story well. I can see that on the back page of any daily.

Have you played with the refs shirt as it looks more blurred and soft around the edges than the others? Be interesting to see the original as like you say it's probably less obvious

Saw this on your flickr and was an instant fave, i think we get to caught up trying to take THE shot, sports is very difficult to get the right action, right light, right position so it is what it is, a great sports shot !

            Hi Alan
Not changed anything to much a slight crop and a bit of brightness, I did try to unsaturate the background colours but it seemed to make things worse so i left it as it was apart for the crop and brightness adjustments.

I'm really surprised considering this game is your business that you've not bought paullinton.co.uk and built your own site rather than smugmug

                Hi Ian

I will buy my Domain name just so I have it and nobody else.(might do it later today?)

But i just want to give the website a try for at least a year and see how it works out, I really don't have the time or too much knowhow to set one going myself you may say its easy and it probably is, but with smugmug my prints/sales/VAT/accounts is all looked after so it one less thing for me to worry about.I know your right but I'm just not ready to take that route at this moment in time.

when you have the name set up URL forwarding ( you can do this with 123reg ) then point the domain to your smugmut account, least this way you can tell people to look at your domain and it will forward on - setting up a CMS like smugmut isn't that hard using wordpress and a lot of the paid themes have carts installed so its a case of just setting up a paypal account and your done ...

I do think its a real shame when someone is trying to build a business up on the back of a free site as you should be building your name / branding and reputation as a talented sports photographer and your own site will help that

What about reverse colour popping the yellow, if it bugs you.

Could be worth doing Di, but i don't have any software to try on this laptop (though I'm going to upload some more 30 day software trial versions)
