Excellent timing, this is the kind of subject I find most interesting. We have a kite surfing beach not far from here which I might have to visit one day.

Nice to see something different Stan nice set
Though i would like to see the action fill the frame a lot more , (420mm lens is a wide angle in the surfing world lol)

                thanks for looking guys

this is a good kitesurfing beach but I had thought they had packed up at the end of October and yesterday we had gone down there mainly to shoot wildlife and was quite surprised to find the surfers down there as instead of wildlife we spent a couple of hours doing something different

Though i would like to see the action fill the frame a lot more
the big waves for this sort of action were quite a way out, so even with the 300 and converter cropping was needed and this was about the limit. I have got full frame shots of the nearer action but not quite as exciting but will post those later, In the meantime a couple form Dee. Same settings and crop

Stan you'll start to hate me but Dee's are excellent. The spray that she picked up really makes the shot and has so much energy.

You set was good honest mate.

                            Thanks Nat

It was quite warm the problem was the wind and trying to keep the camera/lens still. Very tiring too as you need to pick up the surfer as he starts out and pan and follow him hoping a wave will send him in the air for a good pose and when it doesn't you do the same again with another and another.....
