I tracked this guy for ages but he just wouldn't fall over ;o) .... Still pleased with the shot and the lens performed great.. Sadly all the jumps where a lot further up the mountain and was only for boarders ;o(

Well captured and chased lol. Excellent detail and sharpness mate. Have you considered losing the out of focus peeps behind him?

Really nicely captured, looking straight at you which is always a good thing.
Guys in the background are fine, it's a sign of where you were. If you wanted to portray isolation then you would have to lose all the lift gantries and fencing as well.
Only thing for me is 'he' looks a little HDR'ish or slightly over sharpened - may just be my monitor

cheers David - that was my thought regarding the others ...

I've looked at the image and its not looking over sharp here and other than a little sharpening very little has been done - maybe its just his colours against the white snow thats making him stand out a lot more - plus at 5.6 the DoF would have been very shallow

Yep - I will go with that, red against white is always going to be tricky (did I mention you managed the whites really well)

The skiers in the background add to the overal scene IMHO. Well processed.
