    Goodwood Revival Weekend

Spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Revival, coming away with masses of pictures. Have finally finished going through them all.

    So onto a few!

With the following shot I had been doing a series of panning shots, slowly getting the shutter speed lower. I had got down to 1/30th and this Connaught decided to make use of the grass. I quite like it.. but you may think otherwise!

    That's it! Taken with 5dMk3 and 7dMk2 - lenses 24-105, 28-300L, 400 DO (sometimes with 1.4 convertor)

    As ever comments welcome.

Liking them a lot Robert, see you caught some three wheel action as well. Favourite is Nick Swift's mini, can't make out who's driving it though

Nick himself is driving in my shot. Spoke with him first thing on Sunday morning when the weather forecast I had seen said some rain might appear suggesting some giant killing may take place, his weather forecast was more accurate than mine - no rain!

            Very nice

At what corner was the mini taken?

            Cheers

                  cool thankyou.

how do you rate the 28-300L for motorsport. I can see many advantages having this lens on the 5d3 :)

It was a replacement for a 35-350 which died a while ago. I am very pleased with it, I like the useful range it has especially at the wider end. When say panning along the track sometimes a 100 (as in the 100-400 that I also have) is just to much. Combined with the 5D3 it prices some excellent results. If i was restricted to taking on lens it would be this one. Body wise I also have a 7D2 even combined with the influence of the crop factor. It's still a useful lens!

Another good set fella, the Connaught shot does actually work and very well done for keeping your cool and getting it at all.
