A fun afternoon at Brands Hatch

My good mate Steve and I spent the afternoon at Brands Hatch yesterday playing with big boys toys.

Started off with 12 laps in a BMW M4 with an instructor to learn the course. The was followed by the same in a single seater Formula 4. Sadly this was rev limited to 4,500 RPM but non the less a fantastic time we both had and certainly beats fighting with the traffic on the M25 which is my norm for a Monday.

A selection of a few shots I rattled off

        Nice series of images.

I did something similar but in an Aston Martin Vantage V8 at Brands.

Don't know if iit'sstill the same but when in the single seater you were told you could only overtake on the outside. Obviously they hadn't seen the maneuver by a certain Mr Nico Rosberg!

Now that had to be a more fun day than a Monday.

All topped off with some neat pix...

Thanks all for your comments. Most of my passions all rolled into one day, sweet

Ant, yes you're right, overtaking on the left which is very odd. Reason given is that the pit entry is on the right, make sense when you think about it now.

I can see us going back for another blast before too long. Maybe try the Aston's or similar......don't tell the wife

Looks like you had a great day. I've had a couple of driving experiences at Thruxton, thanks to Tesco Clubcard vouchers, driving Ferraris and single seaters and it's great fun.
