I'm a regular at Oulton and I'm interested in your positioning particularly the first two.
Your angles make me ask, were you trackside or normal spectating position?

    Great pics by the way.

Thanks - and yes trackside. although you can get close if you use a good tele / zoom to get through the fencing (bottom of deers leap)

And thank you one and all - R3 is certainly taking some getting used to - be easier if I didn't just do one shot - machine gunning will get a higher keeper rate but also more to go through, prefer the satisfaction of getting it right with the single shot.

Great set David, that Imp driver was really going for it on the bend with one wheel in free space. Its nice to see a selection of cars. Your camera set up and your skill shine through in this set

I usually take my 100-400 with a 1.4x converter and can get some good shots but I think what makes your shots stand out is you angle of view.

I agree great set, re the Imp, I could get my old cars front wheels off the ground no problem, indeed with the engine in the back, it was difficult keeping the front tyres touching the tarmac lol.

Brilliant set David.....Good to see you adapting to the R3 nicely

I'm still on the fence for upgrading my 1DX to a mk3 or going mirrorless.
