Well that didn't work very well...was hoping to embed the picture in the body of the email not as an attachment.

Not only that but the attachment is much smaller than the file I uploaded and the colours don't match!

Any hints & tips to post pictures properly please? :reface:

Hi Glyn

You could always have a look here!

I post to Flickr first, then grab the BB Code from there and copy to the forum. Quite easy, once you know what to do! Others use other sites like Photobucket / 500px - your choice. You can also link directly from your own website, I think, but I don't do that, so can't comment.

Thanks for the heads-up Mike,

Actually the photo was taken in 2006 and not 2008 as the subject shows...I misread the 'posted to Flickr' date as the 'taken on' date...strange thing is the EXIF Data in my OP shows 2008 as well?

I'll see if I can't get it right this time then;
