What is also interesting is the first image you posted Paul, the file size was 218.248KB and the second, although being sharper was only 136.519KB.
I would have expected just the opposite?

As with Papa I am viewing the thread on an iPad and for me the last image is by far the best.

Thanks all for taking the time to look and make the comments, I suppose the question is now, why, with exactly the same images processed from RAW in Lightroom and saved as a Jpeg, them moved to both Photobucket ( which I have always used in the past) and then to Flickr are they so different when uploaded to this Forum?

Ideas anyone? or is it simply that Flickr is somehow better than photobucket at maintaining image integrity.
