    Wyton Jet Meet

    Hi All,

Had a very enjoyable Saturday at RAF Wyton. There were quite a few jet there, although several didn't fly because of the conditions. There was a crosswind and it was decided to use the peritrack at the end of the runway for taking off and landing, which didn't give a lot of room for landing.

Lovely shots Neil as always, like the Hawk best.

I don't recognise the Snowbirds Plane in #2, all the Front, Cockpit and Wings looks like a Jet Provost, but that High Tail has me stumped, is it called a Tutor?

        Hi Paul,

        It's a Canadian CT 114 Tutor - I shall be seeing the real thing in 16 days - http://www.hamiltonairshow.com/perfo...-aircraft.aspx

                Hi Guys,

MX, not sure I'll have enough time. I may go on the Monday I come back because my flight isn't till 18.00. I would like to visit because of the de Havilland connection. A lot also depends on what aircraft will be leaving Hamilton Monday morning, too.

Paul, I can see a JP in the front end - from the wing trailing edge forwards. I don't know if it was modeled on a JP - I'll have to have a Google moment

                Thanks, Tom.

                TTFN,
                Neil
