Smoke On Go!!

Hi All,

Went to RAF Scampton this week to catch a Red Arrows Practise, I was really looking forward to it, only to be greeted by Wall to Wall Grey and White Skies, despite the promised Sunshine.

I was absolutely gutted, as you will see from the Pic's the Sky colour makes a massive difference and really spoils the shots, when compared with others with nice Sharp Blue Skies.

On another note and I hope I am not blathering on too much, it is really interesting to listen in to the Team on the Radio, absolutely everything they do is done to a Routine and timed to the second, even the Taxying is done in Formations.

All are taken with 7D, 70-200mm F2.8L ll, 1.4 Ext, ISO400, 1/2500th.

I understand what you mean about a blue sky popping the planes out of the image Paul, they are, though, excellent and well framed photographs.

Great Images Paul I'm so envious of you living so close to RAF Scampton All I get are Tornados but hoping for some Belgian F16's later this month at Lossiemouth
