Great image, the sound of a Merlin engine always makes me go weak at the knees

Good work Neil. I wish mine at RAF Cosford recently were that good.

Great capture Neil. We live on the flight path often used by the BBMF but have never seen the Mosquito (?) so I guess it's new or not from around here?

                    Re: Sound of Merlins!

There's only one flying Mosquito in existence, in Texas, previously Canada. I reckon this shot's from Neil's Hamilton, Ontario album.
It would also explain the Lanc, as the Canadians have the only other flyable one of those too.

Fantastic shot. I should imagine this would be a very rare opportunity. Shame there is no sound bite!

                          Thanks, Guys for the comments.

The picture was taken at Hamilton. It was quite a shock to find out, when I returned home, that KA114 had been sold to Rod Lewis.

I have a lot more pictures - I have enough to keep me going for quite some months and next up is Flying Legends next week

You could try again with another image just to make sure you can post here

That one of the Mossie on its own does it for me.
Just curious, why the shock at its sale to Lewis?
