    Cleethorpes Air Show

Went on Sunday to Cleethorpes Air Show.

Dropped on with the weather. Blue sky and cloud. Granted sometimes more cloud than blue sky, but at least the rain held off until going home time.

Camera suffered from "user error." I messed with the settings too much, got to the stage where I would have happily dropped the camera in the sea.

Couldn't seem to get things right. Done the best I can in pp and now actually like a couple of them.

    Feel free to laugh.

Can relate to your frustration and problems Di, I had a similar problem last Monday evening. You have some nice shots in this and your other posts, I really like the atmosphere that you have achieved with #2 and #3

Some good catches here Di, #1 looks a bit over sharpened to me, but #2 is an absolute Peach, a good formation shot with the curving smoke and a great sky. I also like your favourite, #3, although I think I would have cropped it a tad closer but still kept them pointing at the top left corner.

Nice one Di, you will have to come down to RAF Scampton when they do another In Season Practise, you can buy me a Pint at the Dambusters Inn

        Regards Paul

Thanks Paul and just to show that I do listen...

            Closer crop.

            Less sharpening.

My brother told me today that the "skicky out bits" on the wings are called pylons. You learn something everyday.
